Project / Resource Manager

MetaMatrix Solutions is hiring a project and resource manager for its own team; this is not a client placement. You will plan and deliver projects across our digital, AI, healthcare and biometric solutions, and make sure the right people, from our team and from new hires, work on the right projects at the right time.

You will work with clients, delivery teams, recruiters and leadership, as part of a remote team.

What you will do

• Plan projects from kick-off to go-live: scope, schedule, milestones, budget and deliverables
• Run delivery with Agile (Scrum or Kanban) or a hybrid approach, and lead planning, stand-ups and reviews
• Plan resources: match people to projects by skills and availability, and track allocation, utilization and bench time
• Work with the recruitment team on new resource needs, and onboard new team members onto projects
• Track risks, issues, dependencies and change requests, and escalate early with options
• Keep clients and internal stakeholders informed with clear, regular status reports
• Keep project plans, documentation, timesheets and delivery metrics up to date
• Help improve how projects are delivered and how people are planned across the company

• At least 5 years of experience in IT project management, delivery management or resource management
• Planning and tracking projects in Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project or a similar tool
• Agile and Scrum delivery
• Resource planning: capacity, allocation, utilization and bench management
• Risk, issue and change management
• Strong stakeholder management, with clear written and spoken English
• Reporting in Excel or a similar tool
• Leading remote team members during fixed working hours

Nice to have

• PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, PSM or SAFe certification
• Experience in an IT services or IT staffing company
• Healthcare IT or biometric project experience
• Budget and cost tracking for projects
• Dashboards in Power BI or a similar tool
